About Mario’s Mission
Our History
Mario’s Mission was founded in 2023 by The Todisco Family.
Mario’s Daughter, Marissa Todisco is currently studying to be a Substance Abuse Counselor and is a mental health professional. As we saw a greater need to help the community in which is struggling the most.
Mario’s Mission is named after Mario Todisco, an East Boston native who is now 30 years clean all because someone had given him a chance.
Recovery isn’t easy, it’s not always a one and done journey. Mario has lost his 2 eldest brothers Arthur & Anthony to overdoses, as well as his Sister In Law Kathy.
Our Mission Statement
Mario's Mission Inc Non Profit is dedicated to providing comprehensive resources and support to individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorder. We offer sober living scholarships, educational programs, peer support meetings and various approaches aimed at fostering a safe and supportive environment for recovery. Our mission is to assist individuals in achieving long-term sobriety and reintegrating into their communities with resilience and hope.

All three brothers had experienced the elements of city living and had fallen victim to Substance Abuse. While falling through the cracks of the system and many hurdles to overcome, Mario maintained a stride of sobriety that leads through to his now 30th year clean date thanks to the Salvation Army Saugus.
