Meet our Vice President Mario Todisco
Mario is the driving force behind the organization's name. With 31 years of sobriety under his belt as of this past New Year, Mario has overcome numerous challenges throughout his life. Growing up in East Boston, MA during a time of high crime and adversity, Mario and his two older brothers struggled with substance use disorder and became entangled in the system. However, Mario made the life-changing decision to choose sobriety over jail time when faced with the ultimatum. Tragically, both of his brothers lost their lives to overdoses in 2006 and 2018.
Now, Mario dedicates himself to maintaining his sobriety and helping others overcome their struggles. Drawing from his experiences in the fast-paced city and his personal journey, Mario has transformed his passion into advocacy, supporting those who face similar challenges.
